One-to-one therapy

Difficult life experience can cause anxiety, health worries, perfectionism, low self-esteem and compulsive behaviours.

I offer a warm and professional therapy service to people wishing to work on these areas.

I am also a specialist in sexual assault and childhood trauma.

How it works

I can work with you online (using Zoom) or face-to-face in Taunton, Somerset.  I am available for sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am until 2pm.

Free introductory call

Once you have filled in the enquiry form, I will contact you to arrange a short (free) phone call to discuss what you are currently looking for, and to see if we think that we would work well together.

Initial consultation

In our first session we will go through your areas of difficulty in more detail, and understand what you’d like to be different in your life.  We then develop a roadmap for our work together which pulls together our understanding of your issues in the context of your life experiences and current circumstances.

I am trained in a number of therapy models which I use integratively depending on the bespoke roadmap that we develop.  The models I use are:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills training

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
