Dr Claire Plumbly
Claire is an HCPC-Registered Clinical Psychologist & Director of Good Therapy Ltd, a therapy-centre for trauma-focussed therapies online and in Taunton.
As well as 1-1 therapy, she runs regular workshops on burnout; boundaries; anxiety and overthinking and is the author of Burnout: How to Manage Your Nervous System Before It Manages You.

Dr Claire Plumbly qualified in 2008. Her NHS work includes 6 years in an Improving Access to Psychological (IAPT) service, then in 3 years in a sexual assault referral centre in London.
She has been in full time private practice in Somerset since 2017 specialising in trauma-related issues such as sexual assault; attachment trauma and burnout.
Claire is accredited in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and is an EMDR Consultant-Supervisor, plus she has training in Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Skills. She uses these in an integrative way depending on the background and needs of her clients.
Claire has trained in Pre-Trial Therapy (PTT) so can provide this to victims of sexual assault who are going through (or considering going through) the criminal justice system.
