Dr Gurpreet Kaur
Dr Gurpreet Kaur is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience working across the NHS, charity sector, and private practice.
She specialises in trauma, grief, imposter syndrome, and the hidden hurts that shape how we show up in the world. Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and CBT.

Gurpreet also provides supervision to other mental health professionals and has a strong belief in therapy that brings about real, lasting change, not just symptom relief. Through both weekly sessions and her Five Days to Unstuck: EMDR for Deep-Healing Intensive, she helps clients get to the root of what’s keeping them stuck.
Gurpreet brings both clinical expertise and lived experience to her work. Having grown up alongside a close family member with significant mental health difficulties, and more recently navigating the loss of her sibling, she understands the deep and often invisible impact of trauma and grief.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally aware. She works with clients to gently uncover the threads between early childhood experiences and present-day patterns, especially when those patterns no longer serve them. At the heart of her work is a belief in the possibility of healing, even when it feels like nothing else has worked.
